About Dave Olimpi

Since 1968, I have been indeed fortunate to be able to combine business with pleasure. My long association with Ferrari has taken me on visits to the Factory in Maranello, Italy. For several years I have been privileged to be a national concours judge for the Ferrari Club Of America, participating in such noteworthy events as the Cavallino Classic and Concorso Italiano. It was exciting to work behind the scenes as the Ferrari consultant for the William Livingston documentary film The Italians. I occasionally contribute articles to publications such as Sports Car Market and Ferrari Market Letter.

I’ve always had a passion for motor racing. The highlight of my first trip to Europe in 1970 was attending the Gran Prix of Monaco. From 1972 until 1977 I held a professional competition driver’s license, and raced Porsches at Sebring, Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, and Mid-Ohio.

My interest in photography can be seen on these pages- I personally photograph all of the cars that you view for sale.
Additionally, my love of architecture and construction has led me to become a licensed real estate agent with Armfield, Miller & Ripley, Fine Properties, LLC.(www.armfieldmillerripley.com) in the heart of Virginia’s Hunt Country, where I live with my wife, Kathy, and daughter Annie.

Since establishing my personal consulting business in 1996, I’ve had the opportunity to serve my clients in a personal manner that encourages long-term relationships.

I look forward to making you a life-long customer.
