The effects of Hurricane Ian reached all the way to Rhode Island but couldn’t place a damper on a weekend full of activities. A steady rain during Saturday’s Tour proved to be a minor inconvenience. I was driving a front wheel drive Citroen DS in the event, and will look back on it as a fun experience. Sunday’s concours was held on the lawn of the former Vanderbilt mansion, The Breakers. The clear overcast day provided perfect light for taking photographs. The Best Of Show was the 1930 Bentley Speed Six Sports Saloon. The Peoples Choice trophy was awarded to the 1931 Bugatti Type 51 Coupe Dubos.
