1966 Ferrari 275 GTB

I was honored to represent Virginia collector Charles Akre’s 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB for judging on the Concours lawn. As a result of its fine overall condition and its striking “Verde Medio” paint, it was presented with a third in class trophy.

The Best in Show was given to the 1935 Duesenberg SSJ Special Speedster, originally owned by Clark Gable.

Streamliners of the 1930s

The Streamliner Cars of the 1930s was certainly one of the most interesting classes on the field. The one-of-a-kind 1938 Phantom Corsair was as breathtaking as any car in its class.

Ferrari Competition Cars

Among the Ferrari competition cars, the blue #12 1961 250 GT “Sperimentale” was a familiar sight, as it had been in our pre-owned car inventory at Algar Ferrari in the late 1960s.

Only at Pebble Beach

It was a rare sight to see a Type 41 Bugatti Royale and a Type 57 Bugatti Atlantic coupé on the same show field.

The 1933 Duesenberg SJ “Twenty Grand” Rollston Arlington Torpedo Sedan—named for its rumored $20,000 price when created for the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair. It was named Pebble Beach Best of Show in 1980.
